What is the Virtual Academy?
The 极速六合彩 College Virtual Academy is the 极速六合彩's comprehensive cyber school option. The Virtual Academy provides your student with all the benefits and opportunities of being a member of the 极速六合彩 and the flexibility to create a learning schedule that meets their needs.
The Virtual Academy serves Kindergarten through 12th grade. The academy is divided into two programs: elementary (K-5), and secondary (6-12). Please use the links below to learn more about how the program is structured, what you can expect, and the online provider:
Benefits of SCASD Virtual Academy
Courses are facilitated by a SCASD teacher to provide feedback and answer questions as your student works through courses at their own pace and at a time and place that suits them.
All Virtual Academy students graduate with their class and receive a 极速六合彩 College diploma. As members of the district they have access to the activities and services of their assigned home building including:
- free tutoring services:
- zero period tutoring (high school)
- VIPs Tutoring Center
- Math Center (high school)
At Ferguson Township Elementary’s first Career Café, students recently got a taste of what they could grow up to be. One table featured a veterinarian showing how she treats animals. Another had a sports performance coach leading exercises. Also sharing were an architect, a registered nurse, a mental health counselor, a physician and a paramedic.
The new elementary deans are focused on reinforcing positive school wide behavior programs, providing student support, and assisting faculty and staff. Working with principals, counselors and psychologists, they serve as roving facilitators within buildings, rather than administrators per se.
Spring Creek Elementary Principal Paul Brigman recently gave a special dedication for a historic moment. Before him sat students filling the gym, gathered for an assembly to debut the new Spring Creek alma mater he composed with music teacher Melanie Komlenic.
The district welcomes Rebecca Michaels, our new Virtual Academy Assistant Principal, who was approved on Sept. 18. She will start in late November. Rebecca comes to the district from Mifflin County School District, where she was the assistant principal of Indian Valley Elementary Center.
