Dzurko, a Park Forest Middle School technology education teacher and Class of 2018 finalist, recently was elected to a three-year term as president of the National Network of 极速六合彩 Teachers of the Year - Pennsylvania Chapter (NSTOY-PA).  Previously, he had served for four years as the chapter’s first vice president-selection chairperson.

“It brings me joy to honor and support this great network of teachers across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,” he said.

Formed in 1995, NSTOY-PA works with the Pennsylvania Department of Education to support the teacher of the year program by providing services and material to select and honor recipients.

As a service organization representing educators, NSTOY-PA believes “that education is a part of the democratic society that contributes to the continued improvement of humankind,” Dzurko said. He said the chapter endeavors to:

  • Encourage quality education for each individual through quality learning

  • Recognize the excellence and commitment of professional educators

  • Promote the image of education through public awareness

  • Stimulate the personal and professional growth of our members and to encourage their participation in activities that will actively inspire teachers by presenting workshops and seminars

  • Be actively involved in the recruitment of young people into the educational profession
